Today’s card is more of a cautionary tale. It is telling you that there may be a better way to reach your goal or be happy than the approach your are taking. If you are stuck or something doesn’t feel right in a situation, usually that is an indicator that something isn’t right and you need to go inside and see what tweaks you can make to the plan so it can flow.

It also could indicate that there is someone in your life that does not have your best interest at heart, and to make sure that before you put your trust into someone or a situation that you really know them.

This isn’t the time for the “Dreamer” – stepping into the unknown with faith and trust – but to look at the situation and make sure you are taking care of you by having looked at the whole situation before making a decision or moving forward.

I feel that this is just another lovely gift from Mercury Retrograde, which has been wreaking havoc in our household! So – don’t get worried or upset at this card. It is just a reminder that before you put your trust in someone, make sure that they have YOUR best interest at heart!

This card is associated with Archangel Sandalphon – the Messenger of God. I like to see him as the ultimate Mailman as he not only safely delivers our prayers and wishes to God, but returns the guidance of how to make those come true.

The major arcana card associated with the Five of Air is the Wise Counselor. For me this means that in this instance you are the Wise Counselor you need to consult – to trust your gut if you feel a situation doesn’t feel right or person doesn’t have your best interest in mind.
