Today’s card is from Kyle Gray’s Angel Guide Oracle deck. It is “Earth and Ground” reminding us that we need to find a way to get grounded as we may be feeling “all over the place”, not able to focus because we are obsessing about something or taking on too many things and not getting anything done!It is time to stop and reconnect with yourself and the earth so you can get back to who YOU are!! If you are scattered you will not be able to help anyone else.
So as you go through today take moments to stop and try this exercise:
-Think of something you are Grateful for as this shifts you into a different mindset.
-Take a deep breath in that go the way down to your feet – imagining it going deep into the earth. Let go of all the chatter going on in your head – the things you need to do – the frustrations you have about something. Just focus on that breath.
-Breath out all of the air and with it feel the release in your shoulders or areas where you are holding the stress. -Repeat this (breathing in and out slowly – maybe count to 4 or 5 with each breath) until you feel a shift in your energy.
If you can do this while sitting outdoors that is great! If not, maybe put on some relaxing music of outdoor sounds (waves, birds, mountain stream) or something that helps you relax. Who am I kidding – as a parent I sometimes put on relaxing music and do the routine in the shower because I never seem to have time otherwise!
